This term is a "lens" for the EWG Framework
Definition as it applies to our work:
"Social" is being proposed as a possible additional metric lens to capture impacts associated to societal change, direct or indirectly to humans or other living species. Impacts such as food shortage due to food crop diversion to a non-food use (eg. some biofuel sources?, milk protein as a raw stock to create fibers ... or fibres ... eh)
